The easy way to stay on budget
piggyme started with a simple frustration: every budgeting app wanted my bank login first. All my transactions — the most revealing dataset that exists about a person — would flow through an American middleman, to be turned into ad profiles or "anonymised insights". That felt backwards.
So I built it the other way around: you fetch your statements yourself from your bank — something every Belgian bank simply supports — and the app turns them into answers. Where your money went, what is still coming, what you can truly spend. Without your data ever becoming someone's business model.
piggyme is built by a single developer in Belgium, under the name WalnutWorks. That has downsides (there is no support department) and upsides: every feature exists because a real user needed it, feedback lands directly with the person writing the code, and nobody can put profit above principles.
Questions, feedback, or just want to think along? Send a message — I read everything myself.
The demo works without an account, with sample data.
